Newt Suit

The newt suit is a very different kind of diving suit. It is something like a one-man submarine. The diver can work inside the suit and move underwater using small propellers on the backpack. The suit is made of very strong metal to protect the diver from the great pressure of the water. Air hoses and a telephone line connect the diver to the ship.
